Improvements for pedestrian and vehicular access...

North Swan Street Multi-Modal Study – The Albany Housing Authority and the Capital District Transportation Committee, with the support of the City of Albany, conducted this study intended to provide recommendations to improve pedestrian and vehicular access along North Swan Street. The plan paves the way for funding applications to resurface the street, rebuild sidewalks, install historic lighting and landscaping. Also, the traffic configuration will be returned to its former 2-way configuration and off-street parking will be created to support business development.
